What we do

The Broad International Business Forum (BIBF) is a completely student-run organization which aims to promote awareness of the global business environment among students, educators, and professionals through a strong sense of dedication, integrity and passion. The organization is fully supported by the Eli Broad College of Business at Michigan State University (MSU), which is considered one of the premier supply chain management schools in the world. With guidance from the faculty and staff in the Broad School, BIBF has been able to bring together hundreds of supply chain industry leaders, scholars, and students every year for a one-day forum to exchange ideas on the most exciting issues relating to business between China and the US. Since its inception in 2003, the BIBF has strived to create lasting bonds between today's international business leaders and the next generation of business professionals. Our goal is to combine the best of international business expertise with the finest business research to create a unified vision for both academia and business for globalization in the twenty-first century.
Who We are:

The BIBF team consists of dedicated students coming from diverse cultures, majors and interests. It was founded by Zhibo (Lawrence) Yu and Li Li in 2003, who brought together a group of enthusiastic undergraduate students who sought to inform and create channels upon which to expand knowledge of international business for students and professionals alike. Each year the new team builds upon the work of the previous team to improve upon the forum and the organization's contributions to the school and surrounding community. The BIBF is now one of the most sought after student organizations by international minded graduate and undergraduate students as a platform for real life teamwork and leadership experience.
