In order to ensure a world class event that promises larger audiences and better delivery year after year, we require significant funding. This includes everything from event logistics, such as catering and venue costs, to marketing and promotions, such as material printing and souvenirs. As a student run organization, we rely almost entirely on the donations of sponsors for the success of the event.
Not only do sponsor donations contribute to the continuation of the annual China Supply Chain Forum, but they also support BIBF scholarships to recognize the outstanding achievements of students with a proven international perspective. Every year, the BIBF presents a scholarship to an international student during the luncheon of the China Supply Chain Forum. In addition, provided adequate sponsor donation, a second scholarship is awarded to a student who has studied abroad in a specified region. Funding for these awards come from the residual donations after all forum expenses have been covered. Our goal is to raise $30,000 within 5 years, which would establish a permanent scholarship here at MSU.
